Among Us to receive new patch allowing click-to-move and keyboard controls

Innersloth has confirmed that Among Us will receive a patch that allows users to use a keyboard while click-to-move is active.

Among Us will be getting an update in an upcoming patch that will allow players to use a keyboard input while also being able to make use of mouse controls. The confirmation comes from a Twitter exchange between the account and AbleGamers COO Steven Spohn.

Spohn tweeted, suggesting that it’d be good to get mouse and keyboard support that work together at the same time in Among Us. At current, the murder mystery party game allows players to move around the levels with 1 of 2 input selections, those being mouse or keyboard and mouse.

However, the keyboard and mouse input allows players to use the mouse to interact with the environment and tasks, but moving is tied to the keyboard. Mouse control allows players to move around with the mouse but cuts out keyboard inputs.

After confirming the feature has been added to the list, the studio confirmed that it’ll be adding it to the next patch for the game. There’s no date set for the patch, but we can likely expect it soon. Among Us saw color blind support added back in September 2020.

Among Us is available on PC, mobile, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X.
